Housecall for Health: Eating More Meals
Americans are eating more food, more often.
FOX’s Karlie Pouliot reports in today’s “Housecall for Health”…
It seems Americans are eating a lot more than their three square meals a day. According to researchers at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, our expanding waistlines can be blamed on more frequent eating.
They examined the daily eating habits of Americans over a 30-year period, and what they found was that we are consuming 570 more calories per day than we did in the 1970’s. Chief culprits behind the calorie gain include sugary sodas and unhealthy snacking.
