Wildfire Threatens Iconic Nuke Lab
The wildfire plaguing New Mexico has forced mandatory evacuations in Los Alamos County and the shutdown of an iconic laboratory.

On Monday evening, the fire was burned a section on the southern edge of the laboratory’s grounds. Los Alamos continues to operate as a nuclear and national security lab, though the fire has forced its closure Monday and Tuesday.
