Are you a yo-yo dieter? Does your weight go up and down?
Research says yo-yo dieting is better for overweight people than not dieting at all. Scientists from Ohio University placed mice on alternating high-fat and low-fat diets, and they lived 25% longer than those on a steady diet that kept them obese.
The yo-yo dieting mice had better blood glucose levels and fewer harmful protein molecules linked to diseases like diabetes, heart disease and cancer.
