Housecall for Health: “Lazy Cakes” Sleep Troubles?

A new sleep aid treat for adults is under scrutiny in one state.

FOX’s Karlie Pouliot has the details in today’s “Housecall for Health”…

Officials in Massachusetts want to pull “Lazy Cakes” off store shelves because they believe the treats, which contain the sleep aid Melatonin, pose a risk to children.  The Mayor of Fall River says if someone wants to buy Melatonin, that’s fine, but it should be in a brownie that’s packaged to attract kids.

In a statement, the makers of “Lazy Cakes” say the product should be enjoyed by ADULTS ONLY.  Side effects of Melatonin includedizziness, headaches and confusion.
