FOX in the Fast Lane: Off Week, Sort of…
Pit lane is quiet this week for Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series drivers…but that doesn’t mean nothing is going on. The Camping World Truck Series head to Darlington, a close call for a Rousch Fenway driver and punches lead to a probation. FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh has this week’s FOX in the Fast Lane…
THE SPRINT CUP AND NATIONWIDE SERIES ARE OFF THIS WEEK BUT KASEY KAHNE WILL WORKING THIS WEEKEND, REPRESENTING KYLE BUSCH MOTORSPORTS IN THE CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES ”TOO TOUGH TO TAME” TWO HUNDRED AT DARLINGTON. IT’S A TRACK, HE SAYS GIVES YOU A REAL WORKOUT…
(I’VE ALWAYS LIKED THE TRACK, DARLINGTON IS A REALLY TOUGH TRACK, SO IT’S EXCITING AND FUN TO RACE THERE.)
A.J. ALLMENDINGER IS HAPPY TO HAVE THE WEEK OFF TO REGROUP:
(YOU KNOW IT GIVES EVERYBODY A CHANCE TO SETTLE DOWN AFTER A FEW RACES.. AND KINDA FIGURE OUT WHERE WE ARE AND WORK ON THE RACE CARS)
A CLOSE CALL FOR GREG BIFFLE, AFTER THE PLANE HE WAS TRAVELING ON HAD A MECHANICAL FAILURE DURING LANDING AT A KENTUCKY AIRPORT CAUSING IT TO SKID TO A STOP ON THE RUNWAY. BIFFLE AND THE TWO PILOTS ONBOARD WALKED AWAY UNINJURED.
AND ROBBY GORDON, DRIVER OF THE NUMBER SEVEN CAR IS ON PROBATION UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR FOR GETTING INTO AN ALTERCATION WITH DRIVER KEVIN CONWAY AT THE LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY.
FOX IN THE FAST LANE, I’M MARGHIEE TESHINEH, FOX NEWS RADIO.
