Shutting Down a Shutdown

    It looks like Congress is dodging the Government shutdown bullet, at least for a couple of weeks.  The House has approved a short-term spending bill.  The measure passed by a bi-partisan vote of 335 to 91, shortly after Democrats in the Senate said they would go along.
