Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak speaking on State TV Thursday says he's passed on some of his authority to his Vice President.  Mubarak reassured his people a peaceful transition of power will take place.  Mubarak also said that errors can happen in any political system, and he wants to continue the national dialogue that has begun to get through this crisis.

Large crowds continue to jam Cairo's Tahrir Square as crowds react to Mubarak's announcement with disappointment and anger as he refuses to step down.
