President Obama: Egypt Statement

    In a live statement Tuesday evening, President Obama reacted to Egypt President Hosni Mubarak’s announcement that he will NOT seek re-election.  President Obama and President Mubarak spoke by phone for approximately 30 minutes.  President Obama said “…an orderly transition must be meaningful, it must be peaceful and it must begin now”.
