JFK 50 Year Ann. Of Inaugural Address

    On this day – in 1961 – U.S. President John F. Kennedy delievered his inaugural address after taking the oath of office at Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

    It was, of course, in that speech that the President told his audience to “ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” – words that have lived on these past 50 years – in what is considered his most memorable address.
