FOX In The Fast Lane – Chase Finale In Miami. FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh Reports
The 2010 NASCAR Sprint season wraps up this weekend at the Homestead-Miami Speedway at the Ford 400, Jimmie Johnson is looking to make it 5 wins in a row, Denny Hamlin gets ready to fight, and Team Harvick goes on vacation. FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh has more with “FOX In The Fast Lane.”
With just one race left in the Chase, Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick are the three drivers with the best chance of winning the Cup.
Jimmie Johnson says though he didn’t win last week at Phoenix – it accomplished something very important. It put the heat on Denny Hamlin. Meanwhile, Hamlin, with a 15-point lead over Johnson, knows it’s not a comfortable lead going into Homestead and says to win the Cup, he’s got to dig as hard as he can go and try to beat Johnson and Harvick.
And Kevin Harvick’s Homestead strategy – a deep sea fishing trip! Crew chief Gil Martin explaining the mini vacation Team Harvick took this week is a good way to relax because based on the points standings now they can’t finish worse than third so they are gonna run flat out all day long with nothing to lose.
