FOX In The Fast Lane – Phoenix

A new points leader emerges, NASCAR takes the Chase to the Phoenix International Raceway for the “Kobalt Tools 500,” and one pit crew gets benched.  FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh has more with “FOX In The Fast Lane.”

With just two races left in the chase, Denny Hamlin is not looking forward to this week’s race at Phoenix where Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick have done well in the past.  So who is Hamlin more worried about?  Hamlin says Jimmie Johnson is probably the strongest of the three of them because he’s got a really good record there and it’s been a very up and down race track for Hamlin’s team.

Hamlin’s win at Texas puts him in first place but Jimmie Johnson says winning the last races of the season is what counts and it’s how he has won the championship in the past.

And big changes in pit row!  After a poor performance at Texas by Jimmie Johnson’s pit crew, Hendrick Motorsports has announced they are swapping out Johnson’s crew with Jeff Gordon’s pit crew for the final two races of the season.
