FOX In The Fast Lane – Kansas Price Chopper 400. FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh Reports
Kansas rolls out the welcome mat for NASCAR as the Kansas Speedway hosts the Price Chopper 400 – the 3rd race of the Chase. FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh has the latest in this week’s “FOX In The Fast Lane.”
Matt Kenseth says when it comes to Kansas, don’t expect the “favorites” to do well at this mile and a half track. Tony Stewart says it’s hard to explain why Kansas is a good fit for his driving style, but it’s a cool place and one he’s had good luck at. Clint Bowyer says he loves driving at Kansas for two reasons – it’s his home state and his team runs really well there.
And NASCAR says “no” to Richard Childress Racing and Clint Bowyer, denying their appeal this week to have Bowyer’s 150-point penalty reversed. Both driver and RCR were penalized when Bowyer’s car failed a post race inspection after his win in New Hampshire.
