FOX In The Fast Lane – AAA 400 At Dover. FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh Reports
NASCAR rolls into Dover, Delaware and the Dover International Speedway for the AAA 400. And a Chase driver takes a big points hit. FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh has more with “FOX In The Fast Lane.”
It’s week 2, race 2 of the Chase and Denny Hamlin says knowing he hasn’t finished well at Dover means if he can’t win, he’ll set a goal on how he’d like to finish. After Dover, Hamlin is looking forward to the tracks coming up. Hamlin goes for a win this week at the “Monster Mile,” still the top-seeded driver.
And what would you give for a championship? Kyle Busch says he’d give all his past wins for a Cup championship.
And Clint Bowyer’s team is appealing suspensions and fines for illegal modifications to their car, discovered on inspection after the first Chase race, last week’s at New Hampshire.
Bowyer and owner Richard Childress lose 150 points each and the team’s crew chief and car chief are both suspended from the next six Sprint Cup events.
