Oil Spill – Washing Ashore in LA, Close to FL
Oil is continuing to gush from the well on the floor of the Gulf of Mexico, possibly even faster than before after BP cut a pipe as part of the latest attempt to gain some control on the spill (BP hopes to attach a cap to the freshly-cut pipe sometime Thursday).
Along the Louisiana coastline, oil continues to roll ashore, while residents of the Florida panhandle await its arrival there (the sheen now less than 10 miles from panhandle beaches).
