Santorum: I Disagree With McCain On Many Issues But There Is No Doubt He Is A War Hero

Former Pennsylvania senator and 2016 GOP presidential candidate, Rick Santorum, joined Kilmeade & Friends to discuss the opening of the Cuban Embassy in America, the Iran deal, Trump saying Sen. McCain is not a war hero and the upcoming GOP debates.

Listen here:

Santorum took issue with the opening of the Cuban Embassy in America, telling Brian, Cuba has promoted communism throughout Central and South America and has worked with radical Islamists. Santorum added, if you want the Obama administration to work with you, treat America badly and threaten our national security.

On the Iran deal, Santorum said it is unacceptable for the President to go to the United Nations to ratify the agreement before going to congress. Santorum believes this is yet another example of President Obama steamrolling congress, just as he did on immigration, and it’s time for congress to stop being lap dogs and stand up for the American people.

When asked about Donald Trump saying Sen McCain is not a war hero, Santorum said he disagrees with McCain on a lot of issues but there is no doubt he is a war hero. Santorum does have an issue with the media always going after republicans for saying something wrong or controversial and never go after democrats like Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. Santorum said he will not pile on Trump for his comments and be a part of the feeding frenzy.

Santorum also discusses the upcoming GOP debates.
