Senator Cornyn: Dems are Going to Lose Any Credibility Leading Into the Next Election

Senate majority whip Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) talked to Brian about how the GOP led Senate has been able to cut some spending (not enough) and how the Democrats are trying to filibuster anything they are doing.

Senator Cornyn told Brian that the Democratic party is going to look increasingly extreme because they are lurching further to the left and are not representing the broad middle ground of America anymore. He also said that we need the Pacific trade deal because it will help keep wages up and people employed. He went on to explain that it is not uniformly a positive thing but we are going to make sure that we have a way to train people for those better paying jobs.
