Col. Hunt: Bergdahl Will Not Get Any Jail Time

Friday on “The Alan Colmes Show,” Alan spoke with Fox News Military Analyst Col. David Hunt about the latest developments in the desertion case against Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. Since the charges were filed earlier this week, details surrounding why Sgt. Bergdahl left his post and then was later captured have started to come out, including if Sgt. Bergdahl was looking to go to another base to report misconduct where he was stationed.

Alan and Col. Hunt discussed those possible reasons, which Col. Hunt wondered why Sgt. Bergdahl had a problem at his base, why would he go to where the enemy was instead of just reporting it. They also talked about whether the administration should have traded him for “bad people,” and if Sgt. Bergdahl will get a deal to keep him out of jail for life.
