Chairman Tom Price: Proposed GOP Budget Will Get America “Back on Track”
House Budget Committee Chairman Tom Price spent some quality with Brian this morning to comment on the recently released budget proposal. Price says his plan would reduce spending by “5.5 trillion dollars,” balance the budget in less than 10 years, without raising taxes.
In addition, Price notes the proposed plan will secure Medicare and Medicaid by repealing ObamaCare and offering up a “patient–centered health care plan, which puts patients and families and doctors in charge of health care and not Washington D.C.” Later in Brian’s interview, Price shares his thoughts about reforming discretionary spending, and his hope that he can work together with President Obama to bring about economic change.
