NY Newsday’s Bob Glauber: Roger Goodell Mishandled Ray Rice’s Suspension.
Bob Glauber, NFL columnist for New York Newsday, told Brian that he believes NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell handled the Ray Rice suspension wrong from the start and his reputation has taken a hit because of it. While Glauber believes Goodell did not see the second video showing Rice hitting his wife, he is more concerned that Goodell didn’t ask to see the second video. When asked if Ray Rice will sign with another team for the remainder of the season, Glauber said if he does, it would be with a contender. Yet, he finds it doubtful that a contending team wants to deal with the distraction that comes along with signing Rice.
