HOUR ONE
COL. ALLEN WEST talked to Brian about the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s I Have A Dream speech. West explained that he was born and raised in the same neighborhood as Dr. King in Atlanta. “Who would have ever thought… that here – 52 years later – I’m sitting on a major national news radio program with a great guy like you, talking about incredible issues. A retired army colonel, a former member of congress; that’s the dream that Dr. King promoted.”

DR. KEITH ABLOW, talked to Brian about the teens responsible for the murder last week of Christopher Lane. Ablow said that teens are growing up more disconnected than ever: “They are growing up disconnected from human feeling. Disconnected by things like social networking, which doesn’t connect you, it disconnects you. Disconnected by things like video games.”
HOUR TWO
The Men Who Lost America author JACKSON O’SHAUGHNESSY talked to Brian about his book, which gives a British perspective on the American Revolution. O’Shaughnessy explained that hearing about the revolution from a British perspective in some ways makes it easier to understand.
Former CIA Operative COL. BILL COWAN weighed in on Syria. Cowan said that chemical weapons are not the issue: “The issue isn’t so much chemical weapons as it is Bashar Assad. And what I would do if I were in charge, I would take a page out of the Israeli playbook.” Cowan went onto explain that last year, the Israelis evacuated a number of people in Hezbollah last year before devastating strikes occurred. “I would say we need to drop some ordinance right at the foot of Bashar Assad, and I would do it by telling him, ‘Vacate your residents.’”
MIKE EMANUEL, FOX’s Chief Congressional Correspondent, talked to Brian about the letter from Congress that will be sent to the President, which states that members would like to be called back into session if Obama is considering military force in Syria. Emanuel said that the letter has 48 Republican signatures and 8 Democratic signatures so far.
HOUR THREE
SENATOR TIM SCOTT (R-SC) talked to Brian about the 50th anniversary of the I Have a Dream speech. Scott said that while we have made amazing progress, but we still have a long way to go, citing Cory Booker’s potential Senate victory as a prime example. (Booker would only be the fifth African American to join the Senate after he is elected.) Scott, who could be the sixth, said, “The key to our success in the future is our education. It’s not a single leader; it’s that each of us are leaders. And if you remember that, then we are empowered to make the difference necessary to move the entire nation forward.”

Former CIA Operative MIKE BAKER talked to Brian about the unraveling situation in Syria. “We might want to be realistic about stepping back and looking and seeing what actually is in our best interests at the end of the day,” Baker exclaimed.
