KILMEADE KONDENSED – 7/25/2013

BRIAN’S QUOTE OF THE DAY
Brian on Obama’s Foreign Policy: “As you go through the President’s foreign policy – or lack thereof – I’m amazed on how he’s gotten a pass on this in 2012 against Mitt Romney. But now as you go through it, everything, for lack of a better term, is blowing up, beginning with the truth about Iraq. The insurgence, the surge was a military victory. And the President through it in the street and got a pass on it.”

Republican strategist KARL ROVE talked to Brian about President Obama’s foreign policy and how he was able to get a pass on it in 2012. “What the president lacks is a strategic vision,” Rove stated, “This president has no global vision except to diminish America’s role in the world and to apologize. He seems to take great delight in going around the world and apologizing for America as it existed before him. And as a result, we have a disastrous set of relationships around the world.”
Later, Rove talked about why Vladimir Putin does not respect America. He said that it is important to realize that America’s relationship with Russia is more than a relationship between nations; it is a relationship between leaders.

“The emperor has no clothes!” Member of the House Ways and Means Committee, REP. MIKE KELLY (R-PA), talked to Brian about President Obama’s way of going after the accuser whenever the administration is in trouble. Kelly said he is also appalled at the fact that Obama has labeled some controversies as “phony.” “It’s not a Republican issue or a Democrat issue. The gap is widening constantly between the people and the government that they elected to represent the lack of faith and trust,” Kelly explained.
Co-host of FOX & Friends STEVE DOOCY stopped by and talked about the President throwing out the term “phony scandals” in his address at Knox College this past Wednesday. Later, Doocy and Kilmeade talked about the Anthony Weiner scandal. Doocy agreed that this scandal is by far the most bizarre and disgusting scandal we have seen. “Just the hubris of Anthony Weiner is incredible,” Doocy exclaimed.
Later, Steve brought his friend from high school, comedian JOSH WOLF, who will be hosting the first ever live Shark Week talk show, Shark after Dark. Wolf weighed in about the newest scandal surrounding Anthony Weiner. “First of all, I just have to tell people: Just because your name means something, like if your name is… Weiner, it doesn’t mean you have to show it to everybody!” Wolf exclaimed, “Also, Carlos Danger is a lazy porn name.” Brian replied, “But it does get the Hispanic vote!”

Brian also had a special visit from Fox News anchor SHANNON BREAM, who’s in New York filling in for Megyn Kelly this week. Shannon previewed her appearance by tweeting that, “she was going to straighten Brian out.” And she succeeded! The two discussed disgraced former Congressman and mayoral seeking candidate Anthony Weiner. Bream wonders what must be going through the heads of the other NYC mayoral candidates: “You know they wake up in the morning and think, ‘I’m losing to this dude?’ You know that’s their first thought when they wake up and the alarm goes off; Ahh, I’m losing to Anthony Weiner!’”
SAL POLISI, aka “Sally Ubatz,” and JOE PISTONE, aka “Donnie Brasco,” talked to Brian about the National Geographic Channel’s show Inside the American Mob, which they are featured in. Pistone explained that he spent 6 years as an undercover FBI Agent in the Bonanno crime family posing as jewel thief Donnie Brasco, which ended with over 200 indictments and 200 convictions.
Polisi, a former associate for the Colombo and Gambino crime families, explained that the reason he spent 15 years with organized crime families is because he was addicted to the excitement. Pistone agreed with Polisi that many members of the mob stayed for the excitement and not the money. “If you’re close to your captain or close to one of the bosses, then you’re going to be making money. But the guys that aren’t close, it’s ,” Pistone explained.

MARK LEBOVICH, Chief National Correspondent for The New York Times Magazine & author of ‘This Town: Two Parties and a Funeral-Plus, Plenty of Valet Parking!-in America’s Gilded Capital , said that his book draws a picture of what Washington has become with all of its excesses and that Washington is no longer a town of democrats or republicans but only millionaires. Lebovich explained that he started the book at Tim Russert’s funeral because, “I was sitting there at the Kennedy Center and I was watching things just spin out of control. It was like a cocktail party. People were throwing business cards around and trying to get each other booked on their shows and trying to suck up to the Clintons and the Obamas and the McCains…it was quite a moment.”
FOX News’ own BILL SCHULZ and LAUREN SIVAN stopped by and weighed in on the latest news surrounding Anthony Weiner. The conversation quickly turned to Schulz and Sivan taking jabs at Brian, and debating whether they would rather have their spouse cheat on them with an intern or sext out pictures of their bodies to the entire world.
