HOUR ONE

Gretchen Carlson stopped by and weighed in on the IRS scandal.  She said that the Democratic Congressman who was trying to say it was actually the American citizens who wanted to start targeting these organizations is a complete double standard. “If you do just a slight bit of research you’ll see that tons of organizations the fast track if they believed in the democratic values,” Carlson explained.

Taya Kyle, Chris Kyle’s widow, opened up to Brian about her husband’s tragic death.  “ was told that a kid was suffering.  He wasn’t told the whole story about this guy,” Kyle explained.  She went on to say that although she cannot give out any details about her husband’s killer, Eddie Ray Routh, Kyle said it will be “very clear to a lot of people that this person had a story long before the military.”

“We are so getting audited!” Mike Emanuel, FOX’s Chief Congressional Correspondent, weighed in on the IRS scandal.  Emanuel said that there are a select number of Democrats in Washington that are acting like “grown-ups,” one being Sander Levin. “I salute Sander Levin for saying that something was done wrong to these people and they deserve an apology,” Emanuel said.

Brian did a simulcast with Stuart Varney on Varney & Co. today! The duo talked about whether or not the Yankees are going to void A-Rod’s contract after the latest doping story broke this week. Brian used former MLB infielder Aaron Boone as an example of why he thinks this will happen to A-Rod.

HOUR THREE

Fresh from their line dancing class, America’s Newsroom co-hosts Bill Hemmer and Martha MacCallum talked to Brian about the 50 million dollars the IRS spent on a series of conferences in 2010, where $27,500 was spent on two speeches alone. MacCallum said, “You know what bothers me about that? about how many speeches I give for free all the time!”
