BRIAN’S OPENING THOUGHTS
Brian investigates the latest news coming out of Texas, where a fertilizer plant blew up and wounded over 160 people. He also looks into updates from Boston about the Marathon bombing and the Ricin-laced letters that multiple Washington D.C. politicians received
HOUR ONE
Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA) talked to Brian about the press conference that he held yesterday with Charles Woods, the father of a Benghazi victim. Wolf said that he is surprised and ashamed that no other media outlets aside from FOX News are covering the Benghazi investigation. Wolf also explained that he and several parents of the victims are pushing for a select committee to be formed that will hopefully find more answers to questions surrounding the investigation.

Vali Nasr, author of The Dispensable Nation: American Foregin Policy in Retreat and advisor to Richard Holbrook, gave his take on Obama’s foreign policies that relate to Pakistan and Afghanistan. Nasr said he thinks foreign policy has been, “very much dominated by domestic political consideration.” He went onto explain that decisions such as sending and withdrawing troops overseas have been decided in the mindset of logical domestic politics. That is, how it would affect the outcome of an election and how it would affect public opinion rather than the reality of the situation in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

HOUR TWO
Harris Faulkner, anchor of FOX Report Weekend, talked to Brian about the letters that were found laced with Ricin in Washington, D.C. She explained that while she was doing a TV hit yesterday, within the little time she was on air, investigators found eight more letters laced with the toxic chemical. “It served its purpose in the fact that it freaked us out; but the offsite testing worked,” Faulkner said. She went on to say that the fact that the offsite testing worked is the silver lining of the entire story.
HOUR THREE
TV’s Andy Levy, co-host of Redeye with Greg Gutfeld, talked about the problem he had with Chris Brown and Brian’s interview from last week with Brown’s lawyers, Mark Geragos and Pat Harris. Levy maintained the argument that Brown is a terrible person, which goes against what Geragos and Harris said last week on Kilmeade and Friends, stating that Brown was, “like a son to them.” The duo also talked about the story coming out of the UAE, where three men were sent out of Saudi Arabia for being too handsome. “My only fear is that it’ll happen to me,” Levy explained, “It’s why I barely leave my apartment.”
