BRIAN’S OPENING THOUGHTS
Are both sides looking to come up with an agreement to avoid the fiscal cliff? Brian thinks so! Brian investigates what moves both parties are making to come to an agreement, but doesn’t understand why Republicans are “giving up the first move in this game of chess before negotiations start.”
HOUR ONE
Special Report’s Bret Baier weighed in on what to expect this week from Washington in regards to the fiscal cliff. He said that he disagrees with Brian in thinking that the Republicans are giving in, but still thinks we have a long way to go: “We are at the beginning on the 10 yard line, and this is a long drive towards January 1st.”
NY Post Columnist Michael Goodwin talked about Bob Woodward’s new book The Price of Politics and about the fiscal cliff. Goodwin said he agrees with Baier, and that the next four years will only be different if President Obama wants it to be different. Later, Brian and Goodwin talked about their favorite movies on the silver screen. Brian was not crazy about Lincoln, but recommends that everyone sees Kevin James in Here Comes the Boom.
HOUR TWO
Executive Director of Patient AirLift Services (PALS) Eileen Minogue talked to Brian about her program, which gives individuals a way of getting to a hospital that is not close to their home. Minogue explained that many people settle for getting treatment for their ailment at a local hospital, even though it may not the best hospital they can go to. “PALS is about a supporting families that are going through not normal times.”

HOUR THREE
“WE HAVE GOT TO GET A HOLD OF THE SPENDING PROBLEMS!” House Majority Leader Eric Cantor weighed in on the comments Senator Dick Durbin made regarding social security. Cantor said he disagrees with Durbin, and that Social Security does impact our debt outlook. He also explained the difference in the way President Obama handles being engaged with members of congress between today and 2009.

FOX’s Chief White House Correspondent Ed Henry weighed in on the spending cuts. Henry said, “It is not clear what spending cuts they are putting on the table… You can’t say everything is on the table, but don’t touch Medicare.”
