Lane Kiffin is returning to Oxford, Mississippi, and it’s going to be absolute chaos! Dan breaks down the high-stakes, hostile homecoming as LSU prepares to walk into a wall of noise against Ole Miss. From Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry calling for military backup to Kiffin admitting there are legitimate “safety issues” awaiting him on the sideline, SEC football culture is on full display.

And fresh off returning from Germany to cover Team USA’s gold medal run at the Women’s FIBA World Cup, OutKick reporter Jackson Thompson joins Dan to break down the viral moment that took over social media. After asking Caitlin Clark if she and Angel Reese are “friends now,” Clark shut it down immediately, responding, *”We’ve always been friends. Don’t try to do that.”* Jackson gives an insider’s look at what was happening in the media room, how Clark reacted in the moment, and his big takeaways from her refusal to let the media frame her relationship with Reese as a manufactured narrative.
