Just days after devastating twin earthquakes struck Venezuela’s La Guaira state, rescue teams are still pulling survivors from the rubble. The toll has climbed to at least 1,450 and thousands remain missing. U.S. Marines and other international rescue teams are on the ground helping. The disaster has exposed growing public frustration over the government’s response, with many families relying on civilian volunteers and international rescue crews to reach loved ones trapped beneath collapsed buildings.
