Texas Republican Congressman Wesley Hunt joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain how the whole stalemate over the SAVE America Act is just the latest example of why no one trusts our elected officials in D.C. to get anything accomplished.
“The average age of the person in the United States Senate is probably 113 years old. And so what they do is they sit around. They don’t necessarily want to get anything substantively done because then they can just kick the can to the next election to continue to get elected, to sit up in DC and continue to do nothing. At the end of the day, we don’t need to peel off four or five. We need to nuke the filibuster and we have the majority and we should act like we have the majority. We should act like President Trump was right, that’s why he was right. That’s why we got elected, and that’s why he continues to be the leader of our party. But when you wanna buck that, there’s consequences to pay. I think we are seeing the last of the Bush era old Republican, those days are officially over, and we’re gonna start turning a new leaf and have America first patriots that are willing to do the right thing, like nuking the filibuster to get to save that past.”
