Texas Republican Congressman Wesley Hunt joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to push back on the claims being made by some Democrats that Republicans are using redistricting to create ‘Jim Crow 2.0’.
“I think the one thing that I keep hearing from them is now this rallying cry of, this is now Jim Crow 2.0. So now we have these benevolent, White, educated liberals that are now telling Black conservatives like me that you are now living through Jim Crow, 2.0, which is the worst thing I’ve ever heard in my entire life because I have family members that actually lived through Jim Crow. And I’m just fed up with it. And so I’m going to keep banging this gong until we get this right, until they realize that this is not a good argument to make against educated people, this is the greatest country in the world, we’ve come a long way and I’m not going to stop.”
