Pennsylvania Republican Congressman Dan Meuser joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on some of the improvements necessary to fix the education system in the Keystone State.
“It’s not about being against unions, it’s not about the against teachers, you know, everybody remembers I’m sure your third-grade teacher, particularly if they were good, ninth grade teacher and everyone else that was good. But the problem is that there’s not enough accountability in our teaching system or at least is not in Pennsylvania. We have we have two levels satisfactory and unsatisfactory. And I didn’t mean to get it get into all this on education but it matters a lot because I’m for funding it but when there’s no accountability. We have 98.8 percent of our teachers get listed as satisfactory. So you know what they’re all not satisfactory. But anyway, point is that we need school choice things of that nature matter. We need limited government, you know the things that are being done in Congress. It’s a struggle. I came from the business world I mentioned to you things happen more efficiently and then some. Not even close. I even say to my staff sometimes, don’t act like you work for the government. Okay? Act like you’re working with me. Not for me, but with me.”
