Iran Threatens ‘New Cards’ As Talks Wane

Expectations are building over the prospect of a second round of U.S.-Iran talks that could take place in Islamabad in the coming days as President Trump says he is “highly unlikely” to extend the two-week ceasefire. Now, Iran threatens to use ‘new cards’ on the battlefield as the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports continues to be successful. As the ceasefire deadline approaches, the question still remains, who in Iran holds the power to actually make a deal?
