South Carolina Republican Senator Tim Scott joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on the hypocrisy of his Democratic colleagues in Congress who have expressed their opposition to the SAVE America Act.
“The Democrats keep playing the race card over and over again. We saw Newsom do it at a town hall saying that his SAT score made him like Black people because it was so low. How disgustingly amazing, remarkable, unbelievable. I love the fact that the governor of Mississippi slapped back when he said, only Black kids in California. Because the ones in our state are two and a half times more likely to be proficient reading than those guys over there. Number two, leadership matters, and here’s what I can tell you, Democrats are leading in the wrong direction. Jimmy, let me ask you a question. You would never do this, by the way. You would NEVER do this. I get it. You’d never do this! But if you ever went to a John Ossoff rally in Georgia, you know what you would need? An ID! You cannot go to one of his events without identifying who you are. And yet, John Ossoff and the rest of the Democrats refuse to do what we know is common sense, require voter IDs. This is supported by black voters, Hispanic voters, White voters, Asian voters, Hispanic voters and Native American voters and mixed voters. Every voter demographic in the country agrees with voter ID. I can’t think about but one reason. One reason why someone would not want voter ID. They want to make it easier to cheat and harder to vote, where Republicans, we want to make it easy to vote but harder to cheat.”
