Florida Republican Congressman and GOP gubernatorial candidate in the Sunshine State Byron Donalds joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to talk about what lawmakers on the House Oversight Committee will focus on when they grill Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on Wednesday about government fraud in his state.
“He’s probably going to try to dodge or place blame on somebody else. But he knew this was happening and he let it continue. That’s what’s damning about Tim Walz. Him and Keith Ellison knew this is going on. They actually did nothing to stop it. And some of the administration under Tim Walz was intimidating whistleblowers. So if you know people stealing, and then you blame the people who are trying to like bring it to light, then you’re culpable. You’re part of it. And that’s the way I look at it. So I don’t really know what he’s going to say, but honestly, it doesn’t matter what he’s gonna say. This is why he chose not to run for reelection. Because remember, Tim Walz was running for reelection to be governor again, until this broke. And I remember like it yesterday, the second the story started coming out about this, all of a sudden Tim Walz wanted to spend time with his family. And I’m like, nope, nope nope nope, you are in it. You are in, you were for it, you let it happen, and you know how bad it is. And that’s why he’s not running for reelection as governor in Minnesota. Amen. Good riddance.”
