Host of the “Jason In The House” podcast Jason Chaffetz joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on why he is skeptical congressional Democrats really want to work with Republicans to pass comprehensive immigration reform.

“Look when I went to Congress, I’m not an attorney. And I know it sounds like I’m bragging, but I’m not an attorney. But I was on judiciary and I was only immigration subcommittee. All I hear from Democrats year after year after year is, oh, we need comprehensive of immigration reform. We just. Can’t stand the laws that are here. Well, I’m here to tell you, 2009, 2010, Democrats had the House, the Senate, and the presidency. There was nothing standing in their way. They didn’t even introduce a bill, let alone pass one. We had two meetings in two years. One was with Stephen Colbert, and the other was to take the class picture. That’s it. That’s the sum total of everything the Democrats did on immigration. So what they’re doing now is absurd. They’re just lying to you. That’s just not true.”
