Former GOP National Spokesperson Elizabeth Pipko joins Fox Across America With guest host Paul Gleiser to shed light on the hypocrisy of the New York Times running a story focused on President Trump’s health after the outlet spent years looking the other way on former President Biden’s cognitive decline.
“They were working overtime to let the American people know that what they were seeing with their own eyes and hearing what their own ears was not true, right? They actually worked to make sure people did not notice that Joe Biden was not aging, right. That’s not the word. We’re all aging. Everyone ages differently, but that Joe Biden was unable to do the job of the president, the job that he was once able to do, very capable of doing. He had served our country for how many years in office? And he simply was unable to do it. We all saw him shaking hands with the air, we saw him getting lost in the White House lawn, we all saw it, we saw his inability to give speeches and they, you know, claimed there was a stutter that we were making fun of. Meanwhile, he’s had that stutter his entire life and was very, very capable in much of his political career. So they actually worked overtime to tell us that what we were seeing was not our reality and tell the American people that they were living a lie. So I think it’s absolutely ridiculous. We all know obviously what we can expect from President Trump. We’ll see him working just like he did in the first term. I can tell you as someone who knows him, nothing is slowing him down. I don’t think anything ever will slow him down. And I hope people pay attention to how much the media since Donald Trump announced in 2015 has made it their job not to report the facts, but to report their own narrative, whatever they choose that to be. And it’s really, really shameful. And I think that’s been the worst thing to happen in the last few years in our country.”
