Columbus Day Comeback

President Trump vows to bring this holiday “back from the ashes.”

Leftists have worked to demonize and desecrate many of our national traditions, and that’s certainly the case with Columbus Day.

Over the last few decades, the commemoration of Columbus Day has morphed into “Native American” or “Indigenous people’s day” in many states across the US. 

Activists and busy bodies decry the celebration of Columbus due to his treatment of native people and the way he carried out his conquests.

Well President Trump has had enough of the dumping on ole Christopher. In a fiery truth social post last weekend, Trump vowed to reinstate Columbus Day “under the same rules, dates and locations” and promised “Christopher is going to make a major comeback!” 

The president also noted that many statues depicting Columbus and his groundbreaking exploration have been taken down and replaced with “woke” or worse, nothing at all. 

Look, reinstating Columbus Day may seem low on the priority list for our president but since the man seemingly never rests, why not resurrect a proud American holiday while he’s at it?!
