Florida Republican Congressman Byron Donalds joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his thoughts on U.S. District Judge James Boasberg’s attempt to block the Trump administration’s deportation flights over the weekend.
“What you have is you have these district court judges who over the last couple of decades, people now run to, it’s farm shopping. This is what happens all the time. You have these liberal groups, they’ll find a jurisdiction where they know they have a favorable judge to bring their stupid lawsuit. And it’s just meant to gum up the works. But the beauty of the Trump admin. They were basically like, hey, man, those planes are in the air. That’s a military operation now. So yeah, we’re not bringing it back. We don’t know what to tell you, but they’re in the air already. They’re outside of our airspace, and this judge is losing his mind. Well, you’re supposed to follow my orders. Well, the judge ain’t the commander in chief. And let’s be honest, you’re a district court judge. You’re not even a Supreme Court justice. You’re a district court judge. That’s like playing A ball and thinking that you’re Derek Jeter. No, you’re in A ball, buddy. Relax. Calm down. Let the president run the country.”
Rep. Donalds also tells Jimmy about what kind of music we can expect to hear at the big kickoff rally later this month to officially launch his campaign to become the next governor of the Sunshine State. Listen to the podcast to hear what else they discussed!
