General H.R. McMaster,(Ret.) former National Security Advisor during Trump Administration, Hoover Institution Senior Fellow & author of AT WAR WITH OURSELVES: My Tour of Duty in the Trump White House, joined Brian Kilmeade to break down what he expects from today’s phone call between President Trump and Vladimir Putin. McMaster says Putin is going to try hard to get President Trump to accept something that is unacceptable to the Ukrainians and try to turn the U.S. against Ukraine but he does not think President Trump is going to fall for it. Looking at the demands Putin wants for a ceasefire, which are Ukraine not mobilizing or training soldiers, and not receiving foreign aid, McMaster calls that a surrender document. McMaster says “What they want is they want they’re trying to set a trap for President Trump, which he’s not going to step into.”
