Majority of Americans are Done with the Daylight Saving Time Changes!

As Daylight Saving Time approaches once again, more than half of U.S. adults want to end it once and for all!

I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.

It’s been the topic of non-partisan water cooler debate for generations now, should we do away with Daylight Saving Time and just keep the clocks the same all year round?!

President Trump has signaled his support for ending the tradition and according to a recent Gallup poll, the majority of Americans agree.

In fact, the Gallup survey suggests a whopping 54% of US adults are ready to do away with it.

The last time Gallup collected data on Daylight Saving attitudes was way back in 1999 and back then, a staggering majority of 73% favored it.

Even with this new broad support, a 2022 measure in the US Senate failed to get it done, though members of Congress from both parties have introduced proposals earlier this year.

Let me give you may two cents on the matter as an early riser, I like waking up with the sun, not the darkness and I’m willing to trade an extra hour of sunlight at night for that early morning glow.

Wherever you stand on the issue, don’t forget to spring your clocks ahead on March 9!
