Ohio Republican Congressman and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his thoughts on Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum agreeing to deploy 10,000 troops to the U.S.-Mexico border in exchange for a one-month delay on President Trump’s threatened tariffs.
“He’s always been the guy, the art of the deal. And shazam, it worked like clockwork with Mexico. What did it take like 36 hours? From the time he proposed it until Mexico was like, here we are. He did the same thing eight years ago when he said, no, we want to remain in Mexico policy. The Mexican president did not think we could do that. He goes, no, I mean it. We really want it. I don’t think we could do that. He goes, Do you want tariffs? Well, shazam, they did, but we’re going to remain in Mexico what we do with these asylum claims. So here we go again. God bless President Trump for his leadership.”
