The Inauguration Of President Donald Trump

The day is here—President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn in as the nation’s 47th president. On the road to the White House, then candidate Trump made big promises on the campaign trail, which included increased border security, mass deportations for illegal migrants, and an extension of the 2017 tax cuts. Now he takes office, and his allies are eager to get to work on the fulfilling his policy agenda. Florida Republican Congressman Byron Donalds joins the Rundown to discuss Inauguration Day, the goals of the Trump administration as it takes over the White House, and talks about a potential run for Florida governor.

President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn into office a second time this afternoon. He is the first president to serve non-consecutive terms since President Grover Cleveland. As Washington prepares to celebrate the peaceful transfer of power, Tevi Troy, Presidential historian and author of The Power and the Money: The Epic Clashes Between Commanders in Chief and Titans of Industry, joins the Rundown to teach us the history of Presidential inaugurations.

Plus, commentary from host of FOX Across America with Jimmy Failla, and FOX News Saturday Night, Jimmy Failla.
