Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) spoke to Brian Kilmeade about meeting with President-elect Trump to figure out what his top priorities are when he takes office so Republicans can be on the same page on day one. When asked if Donald Trump threatening “all hell is going to break out” if there is not a deal to return the hostages to Israel and America means he will send troops to the Middle East, Capito says that Trump is not one who is trigger happy in terms of moving troops into harm’s way and she doesn’t anticipate that happening. Capito thinks this is President-elect Trump putting on maximum pressure and believes we will find out if the hostages are not released, what maximum pressure means to this president. On President Trump talking about the possibility of acquiring Greenland, Capito says it is an interesting prospect. With regard to the Panama Canal, Capito explained how Chinese ships are coming in with their goods and devaluing our American products and workers. Capito believes Trump is doing what he did with NATO – giving a giant wake up call for us to be treated fairly and not just taken advantage of.
