When asked if she’d be willing to fill the soon-to-be open Senate seat left open by Sen. Marco Rubio, Rep. Cammack said the following:
“I mean, if Governor DeSantis were to pick up the phone and call me and ask to serve in that capacity, I think without a doubt you would want to take that opportunity to serve the entire great state of Florida… it would be the honor of a lifetime, certainly. And it definitely would be an interesting change to the culture over there. You know, the the Senate not like the House. It’s an institution that moves a little bit slower. And definitely a need for a millennial, I think is overdue in in the Senate. So it would be a fantastic honor and a privilege.”
