General H.R. McMaster (Ret), former National Security Advisor for President Trump, spoke to Brian about how it is time to return to maximum pressure on Iran when Donald Trump takes over again as President, as he did the first time. McMaster addressed how the world has changed since Donald Trump was president, from the impact of the Afghanistan withdrawal, to the massive invasion of Ukraine, the first major led war in Europe since World War II. Turning to China, McMaster believes it is time for action rather than words and Trump’s National Security Advisor needs to communicate to them, the gig is up and look to go after them economically, something McMaster says could really further affect their economy when they’re not meeting the growth targets. McMaster also warned of China playing a role in Ukraine and how it can be argued China is fighting a proxy war against us using the Russians and North Koreans because they want to show us as weak, unable to support Ukraine and try to break up NATO. McMaster wishes all Americans would read the joint statement that Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping issued during the Beijing Olympics right before the massive invasion of Ukraine, because the subtext of that statement was ‘we’re in charge now.’
