Senator Tom Cotton (R-AK) tells Brian Kilmeade after he and his wife gave it a lot of thought, he decided against taking a position in the Trump Administration in order to have the time to focus on doing his best to be a good father and husband, adding, it was the right decision for his family and President Trump.

On President Biden giving Ukraine permission to use US supplied weapons to be fired into Russian territory, Cotton says the President should have done this from the very beginning, making it clear we would back Ukraine and help them defend their territory. Cotton believes President Trump wants to have a satisfactory cease fire and peace deal but points out a deal probably is not going to result in Ukraine reclaiming the territory lost going back to the Obama Administration in 2014.

Cotton responded to Democrat Congressman Jim Himes saying republicans who vote for Matt Gaetz will be judged by history. Cotton said he doesn’t remember Himes being on the fainting couch whenever Joe Biden chose a cross-dressing luggage thief to be in charge of sensitive nuclear programs at the Department of Energy, adding, Himes doesn’t, as a member of the House, have a vote on any of these matters. Cotton went on to say how the Senate will go through the process on each candidate Donald Trump nominates and will make sure the Senate committees will have everything in order when they are sworn in on January 3rd, 17 days before Donald Trump is inaugurated.
