Free Daniel Penny
The trial of Daniel Penny begins this week and how it shakes out will have major implications for blue cities and the decent people left in them.
I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.
Daniel Penny faces manslaughter charges in the death of Jordan Neely- a homeless man who seemingly suffered from mental health issues.
According to testimony from a motion hearing last month, Neely barged onto the train after the 10th Street Station, ripped his jacket off and threatened to “kill anybody.”
Penny- a United States Marine Corps Veteran- stepped in to intervene and subdue Neely in an effort to protect his fellow passengers.
If Penny is found guilty, a dangerous precedent will be set.
There’s no doubt capable young men- men who are biologically programmed to protect the vulnerable- will think twice before intervening when they see a threat play out.
Why would anyone risk their own life to protect others when they look at what happened to Daniel Penny- a military veteran who was just trying to do the right thing?
With blue cities chalked-full of Jordan Neelys, I would sure hope there’d be a few Daniel Pennys around to intervene.
