The CBS News Vice Presidential Debate featured many tense moments between Ohio Senator JD Vance and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. While the VP picks were peppered with questions on policies, the moderators quickly confronted Vance on his past statements about Haitian immigrants and childless women. However, Vance’s steady performance allowed him to question Vice President Harris’ record while scrutinizing Walz’s history of progressive politics that could unnerve moderates and independents in key swing states.
