Marc Thiessen: Trump Was Not “Flummoxed or Shaken” By Second Assassination Attempt

Marc Thiessen, columnist at The Washington Post, Fox News contributor, fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, and co-host of the podcast What the Hell is Going On, joined The Guy Benson Show to discuss his interview with Trump. The interview came just a day after the second attempted assassination on the former president’s life, and Trump and Thiessen covered a range of topics including foreign policy, Israel, and the Kamala-Trump debate. Guy asked Thiessen about Trump’s answers, and the pair also discussed the hypocritical and politically expedient media coverage surrounding the second assassination attempt on Trump’s life, and you can, listen to the full interview below!

Thiessen had this to say on Trump’s demeanor following the second assassination attempt on his life:

“What I found that was fascinating is just he’s not he’s not flummoxed or shaken by it at all. I mean, this man has now survived by a millimeter, a bullet. Now there’s been found a guy was laying in wait for him on his golf course with an assault rifle. And it wasn’t the first thing you want to talk about. He wanted to talk about policy. He wanted to talk about the campaign. He wanted to talk about all sorts of other things. It took a long time for us to get the conversation around to what had happened.”
