Karoline Leavitt, Trump 2024 National Press Secretary, joins Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla to preview Tuesday night’s presidential debate. Leavitt says the former president wishes there were more debates, but VP Harris continues to decline them.
“I think it totally depends on how Kamala Harris performs tomorrow night. And I hate that because I wish there were more already on the books, and our campaign wishes there were more, and President Trump wishes there were more. He committed to three debates. He was supposed to have the first one with Kamala last week on the great Fox News Network, which, Martha and Bret, it turned into a town hall just with President Trump and Sean Hannity. Because Kamala Harris refused to commit to that debate. The President Trump also committed to a debate hosted by NBC and Telemundo, which would have been great outreach to the Latino community in this country. Kamala Harris is losing support from every day. She declined that request as well. So we’ll see if she commit to another one. I do think it depends on how she performs tomorrow night and what she thinks her advisers need. But success for President Trump tomorrow night. All he has to do is tie Kamala Harris to Biden’s failures of the last four years. And that’s guess that’s a win for us. That’s our goal. Tomorrow night is for him to expose the American people. Kamala Harris is dangerously liberal record because the mainstream media certainly has it. And she certainly has it, because she’s been hiding from the press for 50 days now, hasn’t done a solo interview, hasn’t done a solo press conference. So it’s up to President Trump tomorrow night confirms the truth about Kamala. And we’re very confident he will do that.”
Leavitt says the former president is expecting and prepared to combat all of Kamala Harris’ lies at the debate. Listen to the podcast to hear what else they discussed!
