Gender Gap Election

The November election isn’t just Trump versus Kamala. 

The polls indicate it’ll also be “boys versus girls.”

What can Trump do to win with female voters?

The party that cannot define “woman” is leading with female voters and however ironic that might seem to us, the fact is, the gap is widening.

The latest ABC News/IPSOS poll shows Kamala ahead with that group by at least 13 points.

And perhaps unsurprisingly, Trump leads with men by 5 points. 

And get this, it’s white people who are tipping the scales. 

Before the convention- and yes before JD Vance was tapped as running mate- Trump was up with white women +13 and now that lead has shrunk to +2, a statistical dead heat with Kamala. 

As for white men, pre-convention they were also polling +13 for Trump but now? +21. 

In order to win, Trump doesn’t need to CLOSE the gender gap but he needs to at least BRIDGE it.

Some suggestions would be: reiterate opposition to a federal abortion ban, highlight how inflation is crippling families, spotlight the dangers of soft-on crime policies and migrant crime on vulnerable women, and get some female leaders out on the campaign trail!
