Author of “Amateur Hour: Kamala Harris in the White House” Charlie Spiering joined Brian Kilmeade to discuss Vice President Kamala Harris’ political record and the progress of her 2024 Presidential campaign to replace President Biden on top of the Democratic ticket. Charlie elaborated on how Vice President’s 2020 Presidential campaign was a failure and that she wasn’t ready for the big stage. Charlie feels that a lot of people put “stock into the idea that Kamala Harris could be the ultimate Trump slayer”, but when she went out on the campaign trail “and tried to connect with voters. She really came up short.”
Charlie raises questions on why former President Obama is the only one who hasn’t endorsed Harris, saying that he feels Obama “wants to create that public distance in the same way that he didn’t want to be seen as publicly pushing Biden aside. He doesn’t want to be seen as publicly helping Kamala Harris into the position” of president.
More topics from the interview include why Harris is losing staff members and her failures at the border.
